We decided to walk to church this morning. It was a pleasant walk, the snow added some grip to the ice beneath.
We were very very well wrapped up - two pairs of socks, two pairs of gloves, boots, lots of jumpers, thick coats, hats and scarves. No skin on show :)
We were walking into the wind so by the time we arrived at church we were covered in snow.
We were late (hardly surprising!!) and as we walked in everyone turned round and laughed....
I think we must have looked like Cyril!
The walk home (uphill) was more arduous especially as it was now even colder and we had a shopping bag of goodies from the shop near church!
Supper is beef in a port sauce which sounds lovely on a day like today.
And looking out of the window; still it snows.
