Pussy cat, Pussy cat where have you been?

I've been to London to visit the Queen!

Well, no, I didn't visit the Queen as the nursery rhyme goes and in fact I'm not quite sure where I've been - lol!

Thank you all so much for emailing me to see if I was ok :)

Well, first off, my camera starting having the jitters and then broke completely down. So I didn't want to blog with no piccies.

But then everything else decided to break down...............my hairdryer, our phones, the dishwasher, the vacuum cleaner and finally my car - yikes - it all gets to a certain age - and then kaput!!!!!!

Since my neuro/stroke problems I am bad .... so bad ....at learning new stuff so I have been on a steep learning curve - trying to use everything!!!!!!

The camera was the last thing to learn - and yikes , it looks like I've done it!

I have also been mega busy with life - parties to go to - lovely. Visiting friends at weekends. And just lots of socialising - nice, so nice!

And the charity shoeboxes - so thankful they are now done and dusted and awaiting collection - nearly 60 in all! They seem to have taken so much of my time but it was well worth it. Can you imagine the looks a middle aged woman receives at the checkout when she has 30 bars of baby soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste in her basket :)

This is one of the 5 year old shoeboxes ......

There was lots of work, but goodness I did enjoy it. I prayed for each little man or lady recipient as I packed. I hope they enjoy all the goodies our group have put together :)

So, many, many apologies for my absence and thanks for keeping in touch with me via email.

Much love, as always.
L.x.

  1. Yay! I was thinking of you this morning as I made tea. I thought to myself, "Lynn is an expert when it comes to tea! I'm going to go to the store that sells PGTips and buy some!" I am off for a week! Tra la la! I shall send you good British wishes when I go to Canada! Bill is out cleaning up leaves and we are heading north to Brad's harvest festival this afternoon. I'll get to see seven grands and I saw the two others last night.
I missed you and your blog, my sweet dearie dear!
I'm so glad you have a new camera to blog with! I hate it when everything conks out at the same time! Our shower door is threatening to fall to pieces. Grrrrrrr.
